UNTIL YOU VALUE YOURSELF, YOU WON'T VALUE YOUR TIME

"Until you value yourself, you won’t value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it. ” ~ M. Scott Peck

Do you ever feel like you don't have enough "time" to do the things you REALLY want to do in life? The truth is that we all get 24 hours each day, and while some people are able to do all that they want during those hours, many others are not. Did you know that last year alone, there were 200,000 new millionaires in the US? And having been in several millionaire masterminds I can tell you one thing for a FACT: they are NOT all educated with advanced degrees. They are NOT all incredibly gifted. They are NOT from wealthy families. So what IS the difference? The difference is in how we spend our time. But when you don't truly VALUE your time, there really is no time to pursue the life you truly desire.

One example in a recent mastermind group is that we talked about the importance of outsourcing areas of your life to free up time. For example, hiring a housekeeper. So many people say "but there's no way I can afford that". But really, there's no way you can't! In a dollars and cents way, it is COSTING you money to spend your time doing work you could outsource. For example, if you want to launch your own business. Now, not everyone has a vision of having a high 6 or 7 figure income business. But let's say that is one of your goals. Well, then cleaning and doing laundry is NOT valuing your time. If you can outsource that and let's say, pay someone $20 an hour. (I know rates vary geographically). And let's say your new housekeeper takes 6 hours to clean your home and do laundry. If you are an entrepreneur looking for an abundant business, 6 hours of your time spent on your business is worth MUCH more to you than that. But business is just one example.

How much time do you give to others? Versus to yourself? How much time do you dedicate to personal health - exercise, creative pursuits, quality time with spouse, quality time with yourself? Are you spending most of your day reacting to other people's actions? Instantly answering emails and phone calls, allowing others to control your time?

Carefully take a look at how you spend your 24 hours of currency each day. Track it for a few days in a row and it will give you a clear and accurate picture of how much value you are placing on yourself and your time. Once you do this, you can decide what YOU feel your time is best spent doing. ❤️ Don't let the days just slip away from you ... you cannot get them back. Hours gone turn into days turn into weeks turn into years, and one day you may wake up to realize a decade has passed and you're still not living the life of your dreams. If your current life isn't exciting every cell in your body - you can change that. Today. ~ Liana
